We were tired of ironing, too.
Verlino started with a simple frustration and one stubborn question: why are we still pressing our clothes by hand?
The chore nobody looks forward to
Pressing was the last thing that still had to be done by hand.
Ironing is the household job almost nobody enjoys. It is the board you have to drag out, the wait for the plate to heat, and then standing over it — sleeve by sleeve, collar by collar — for something you will wear once and wash again.
In a warm, busy country like ours it always seemed to land at the worst possible moment: Sunday night, or five minutes before heading out the door. We lost evenings to it. We scorched shirts we loved. And most weeks, we simply gave up and wore the wrinkles.
Washing machines and dryers automated the hard parts of laundry decades ago. Pressing — the most tedious step of all — somehow never got the same treatment.
The question
So we stopped trying to build a better iron.
We didn’t want a faster iron, or a lighter one, or one more gadget to store in a cupboard. We wanted to remove the iron from the picture entirely — to take the last manual step in laundry and make it hands-free, the way washing and drying already are.
We didn’t want to iron faster. We wanted to stop ironing.
Everything about Verlino grew out of that one idea: your clothes should get themselves ready while you get on with your day.
What we made
Verlino Home does the pressing so you don’t have to.
You slide a garment onto the form, choose a cycle, and walk away. Warm, moving air dries and smooths the fabric on its own — most pieces ready in eight to twelve minutes, with no board, no burns and nothing to stand over.
It even takes damp laundry straight from the wash and finishes it, ready to wear. And because there is no scorching hotplate, the care is gentler — so the clothes you actually love keep their shape and look newer for longer.
